Role

Take full responsibility for consolidation, preparation, and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone and group financial statements, ensuring deadlines are met.
Act as the IFRS expert, advising on complex accounting issues and overseeing GAAP adjustments (e.g., leases, pensions).
Support M&A activities and post-deal integration into reporting packages.
Prepare and submit quarterly financial reports to external stakeholders.
Collaborate closely on deferred tax calculations and reporting.
Manage expense recharges between central support centers and operating companies.
Serve as the main contact for external auditors during audits.
Ensure accurate accounting and financial statement preparation for holding and financing entities in Guernsey and Luxembourg.
Review monthly and yearly VAT returns for holding and financing entities.
Coordinate with auditors for preparation and sign-off of holding and financing accounts.
Oversee cash pooling transactions and manage banking relationships.
Monitor covenant compliance and prepare periodic cash forecasts.
Optimize cash utilization and manage foreign exchange risk exposure.
Maintain and optimize consolidation software and related IT general controls.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and implement control procedures.
Contribute to improvements in business reporting systems and tools.
Participate in group-wide projects related to financial management and systems development.
Lead, guide, and develop the Senior Accountant for Holding and Consolidation.
Set and monitor team goals and objectives.
