Data analyst - Warehouse operations
As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing processes within an international company based in Namur.
Your expertise will be essential in evaluating the efficiency of equipment, processes, and teams, while transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for responding to operational analysis requests and clearly presenting your findings in a structured and impactful way.
Role
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities in close collaboration with operational teams and process engineers.
- Provide analytical support to projects by delivering accurate, relevant, and actionable data.
- Design, develop, and maintain tools to enhance day-to-day operational management.
- Create and optimize performance dashboards, particularly using Power BI.
- Develop custom tools to increase productivity and improve visibility on processes.
- Ensure the proper functioning of implemented tools and promptly resolve any issues.
- Work in coordination with operational and IT teams to define technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, both in terms of tools and operational processes.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- You are able to work in English (minimum C1 level) and French (minimum B1-B2 level).
- You have at least 2 years of experience in an operational environment.
- You possess a strong understanding of operational processes and data analysis.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as MS Project and Visio. You are an expert user of Power BI.
- You have working knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System) and WCS (Warehouse Control System).
- You are familiar with industrial engineering methodologies, such as motion studies, space optimization, and root cause analysis.
- You have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining data analysis and reporting tools.
- You are solution- and results-oriented, with excellent communication skills across different stakeholders.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and bring a positive, team-oriented mindset to your work.
