Azure Architect (Trilingual)
Are you the Azure Infrastructure Architect ready to shape a long-term cloud roadmap in a complex federal environment?
we are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to define and drive the long-term Target (To-Be) Infrastructure Architecture and its associated roadmap.
You will play a strategic role in ensuring sound technology choices, investment decisions, and multi-year budget alignment. This is a governance-driven position with significant autonomy and impact.
Role
You will collaborate closely with:
- Infrastructure Department
- Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)
- Enterprise Architecture team
- Architecture Board
A key focus of the mission includes infrastructure modernization and NIS2 compliance, supporting initiatives such as exiting G-Cloud and onboarding federal framework contracts
Define and document the To-Be Infrastructure Architecture
Develop a coherent and realistic multi-year roadmap
Define strategy for existing infrastructure components and maintenance contracts:
- Extension of current contracts
- Phase-out and replacement strategies
- Launch of new projects via tenders or federal framework contracts
Provide strategic advisory on:
- Architecture team staffing & continuity (avoid SPOFs)
- Collaboration between Architecture team and CCoE
- Cost optimization & investment planning
- Business case input
Monitor and guide roadmap implementation
Actively participate in the Architecture Board
Contribute to technical studies and tender documentation
Provide architectural guidance for NIS2-related initiatives
Profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ICT infrastructure
- At least 8 years in an architecture role (Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect, or similar)
- Proven experience designing long-term infrastructure visions and roadmaps
- Ability to operate autonomously within complex enterprise environments

- Microsoft 365 tenant architecture (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, governance)
