We are actively looking for an Accountant for one of our clients active in the insurance industry and based in Brussels.

Our client is a long-established insurance provider. With over 20 years of expertise, it has become a key player in the Belgian market and represents Belgium within a global network of independent firms. Its client base includes major multinational corporations and more!

Since late 2010, our client has been part of a major player in the Belgian insurance sector, while continuing to operate independently. This unique setup allows our partner to combine the flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit of a smaller structure with the resources and means of a much larger structure.

As Accountant, you will join a team composed of 6 people supervised by a Finance Manager who leads with both vision and proximity. Your future manager is known for his strategic mindset, but above all, for being deeply present and engaged with his team. He enjoys being on the ground, collaborating side by side with his colleagues. Very tech-savvy and ERP-oriented, he values innovation as much as he values people. He places strong emphasis on team spirit, open communication, and building real connections among team members.

Function:

Managing the entire accounting cycle, from daily entries to year-end closings, including the preparation of financial statements
Analyzing financial data and proactively resolving issues in close collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders
Acting as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients, primarily multinational corporations and major Belgian firms
Driving innovation by contributing to the development of new tools and automation solutions aimed at optimizing and streamlining accounting processes

Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least 2 years of experience in an AZ position. A first experience in a fiduciary is a big plus!
You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a good level in the second national language
You’re critically minded and always looking for ways to improve how things are done.
Comfortable with tech, you’re eager to propose smarter, more automated solutions.
You value collaboration and enjoy sharing knowledge with your team.
Dynamic and proactive, you bring energy, take initiative, and confidently challenge what’s set
