We are actively looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients active in the automotive industry and located in Brussels.

A few years ago, the company began internalizing its accounting management by hiring its first accountant. Due to its rapid growth and the expansion of its activities, our client is now looking to hire a second accountant to work alongside the current one and further strengthen the internalization process.

In this role, you will not only handle day-to-day accounting responsibilities but also contribute to exciting digitalization and process improvement projects. With the company’s strong ambitions for the future, this Senior Accountant position offers the opportunity to grow into an Accounting Manager role, leading and supervising a dedicated accounting team.

Function:

Prepare the monthly closing of financials, account reconciliations and financial reports
Perform monthly/yearly VAT and corporate income tax calculations and returns
Prepare reporting and actively participate in the audit procedures
Identify financial risks and shape concrete decisions and processes from scratch
Actively participate in the improvement, automation & digitalization projects

Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least 3 years of experience in accounting
You speak French and/or Dutch and have a good level of English
You are driven by challenges and working in a fast-changing environment doesn’t scare you
Curious and hardworking, you like to evolve and learn new things everyday
You are known for being communicative and assertive
