Senior Accountant - International Group in Innovation

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Accountant based in Brussels or Flemish Brabant.

Role

Ensure the reliability of financial data by monitoring accounting entries and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Oversee the complete accounting management of the assigned entities: daily operations, general accounting, customer and supplier follow-up, payroll, as well as tax and social obligations.
Lead the monthly closing of accounts, analyze financial statements, and collaborate with the shared Finance team to resolve outstanding issues.
Interact with external stakeholders, including auditors, legal secretaries, and tax advisors, to ensure smooth operations.
Work closely with internal teams (FP&A, legal, business managers) to improve processes, accounting policies, and contribute to system enhancements.
Contribute to the creation of an accounting center of excellence dedicated to several European countries, with an implementation target of one year.
Participate in cross-functional or specific projects, as requested by your direct or functional management.
