Business Controller | Financial Services | Brussels
We are currently looking for a Business Controller for one of our clients in the financial services sector, located in Brussels.
This Belgian organization was founded less than ten years ago and originally launched as a start-up, is now scaling rapidly and evolving into a mature scale-up. Our client has doubled both its workforce and its footprint across Belgium.

As a Business Controller, you will partner closely with the Finance Manager, forming a high-impact duo driving key financial decisions and shaping the company’s strategic growth.

Function:
- Provide financial analyses, forecasts and business cases to support strategic decisions
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while translating data into actionable recommendations
- Lead budget forecasts, variance analyses and performance reviews
- Support cash flow and capital management, optimizing payments, expenses and billing
- Drive process improvements
Profile:
- High degree in Finance, Economics or Management Sciences
- At least 3 years of experience in Audit or Business/Financial Controlling
- You speak French and have a good level of English & Dutch
- You are analytical and strategic, turning complex financial data into clear insights that support business decisions
- You are proactive and detail-oriented, identifying issues and proposing solutions
- You communicate effectively and adapt easily, translating numbers into actionable recommendations and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
