Our partner, an established professional services firm, is looking for an IT Support Specialist to strengthen its internal IT team.
Supporting a large network of professionals, IT plays a key role in keeping the business running smoothly.
What makes this opportunity different? You won't be one of many people handling a small piece of the puzzle. You'll work closely with one teammate, sharing responsibility for the company's day-to-day IT operations and taking ownership of issues from start to finish.
Support Specialist - Tasks & Responsibilities
- Take ownership of IT support by handling day-to-day technical requests and resolving incidents across the organisation, from initial diagnosis to final resolution.
- Troubleshoot across the IT environment, including workstations, laptops, software, user accounts, connectivity and Microsoft 365.
- Manage a broad range of IT activities, adapting to business needs rather than working within a rigidly defined scope.
- Support colleagues throughout their IT journey, from onboarding and equipment setup to access management and ongoing technical assistance.
- Keep IT operations running smoothly by following up on incidents, documenting solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work as a close-knit duo, sharing knowledge and responsibilities with your teammate while taking initiative and contributing to decisions about everyday IT operations.
Support Specialist - Profile
- You have experience in IT Support, Service Desk or IT Operations, ideally within an accountancy firm or a professional services environment.
- You have hands-on experience with accounting software and tools such as Mandaten, Silverfin, ClearFacts or Bizzcontrol.
- You have a good understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, workplace IT and technical troubleshooting.
- You enjoy working across different IT topics and are comfortable switching between tasks depending on the needs of the business.
- You demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and autonomy, taking responsibility for issues from diagnosis through to resolution.
- You are a hands-on team player who enjoys working in a small team, sharing responsibilities and taking initiative. You communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French.
