We are currently looking for a Senior Reconciliation Officer for one of our clients in the financial services sector, located in Brussels.
This Belgian organization was founded less than ten years ago and originally launched as a start-up, is now scaling rapidly and evolving into a mature scale-up. Our client has doubled both its workforce and its footprint across Belgium.

Role
As a Senior Reconciliation Officer, you will work alongside a human-sized team and handle the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing cash reconciliation
- Performing daily and monthly reconciliation controls
- Preparing and presenting key figures to the management
- Carrying out reconciliation checks, analyzing and reporting causes of discrepancies
- Ensuring follow-up of financial impacts on the balance sheet and P&L
- Participating in the development and implementation of new tools
Profile:
- Superior degree in Finance or Accounting
- At least 3 years of experience as a Reconciliation Officer or as an AP/AR Accountant
- You speak French and have a good level of English & Dutch
- You are motivated, resilient and thrive when facing new challenges
- You can simplify complex financial information and make it easily understandable to anyone
- You approach your work with a positive attitude and a proactive mindset
