Senior HR Business Partner

Our partner, an international manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Senior HR Business Partner in Hainaut.

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in supporting business performance and employee engagement. You’ll act as a trusted partner for management, driving initiatives that enhance culture, productivity, and talent development.


Role

  • Strategic partnering with site leadership to design and implement HR initiatives that improve performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Driving workforce planning and talent programs: recruitment, learning, development, and succession planning.
  • Analyzing HR and business data through reports and dashboards to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring policies are well understood and embedded at all levels.
  • Supporting employee relations: managing day-to-day issues, investigating sensitive matters, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
  • Overseeing operational HR processes such as time & attendance, benefits, and labor relations, ensuring full legal compliance.
  • Acting as a change agent, guiding leaders and teams through transformation initiatives.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar HR Business Partner role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Belgian labor law and experience in managing works councils or union relations.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end HR processes with autonomy and precision.
  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on, approachable, and able to balance strategic vision with operational efficiency.
