Senior Accountant | Services | Flemish Brabant
We are looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients active in the services industry and located in Flemish Brabant.
Our partner is a leading European services provider operating across more than 35 countries. With around 40 000 employees in the EMEA region, the group has a significant presence in Belgium, employing roughly 100 people.
The company is working to make its country’s teams more independent. Until now, all accounting and finance activities for the Benelux region were managed outside of Belgium. They are now looking for a Senior Accountant who can autonomously manage all Belgian accounting operations and support the development of a fully self-sufficient local finance team.
Function:
- Manage AP/AR and process daily accounting entries
- Maintain the GL and perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Handle VAT declarations and support other tax obligations
- Prepare month-end and year-end closings
- Produce financial reports
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with local accounting standards
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience in AZ Accounting
- You are fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
- You are communicative, open and comfortable interacting with colleagues across different departments
- You are analytical and naturally driven to understand how things work
- You are autonomous and able to prioritize your tasks
