Senior Accountant | Analytical & operational autonomous role
We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant for one of our clients active in the advisory sector and located in Brussels centrum.

As our client grows, they aim to bring accounting in-house and are looking for a highly autonomous and versatile finance professional. This dynamic role blends hands-on operational tasks (such as AP/AR, payments and month-end closings, …) with analytical responsibilities, including cash flow management, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, offering a real impact on financial performance and strategic decisions.
Function:
- Manage AP/AR, payments and GL entries
- Prepare month-end and year-end closings
- Monitor and manage cash flow, reporting and financial performance
- Support budgeting and contribute to forecasting activities
- Act as the main point of contact during audits
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience in AZ Accounting position
- Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch
- You are hands-on and able to execute tasks efficiently under tight deadlines
- You are agile, autonomous, stress-resistant and excel at prioritizing
- You are assertive, proactive and comfortable collaborating with different departments
