SecOps System engineer

As a System Engineer - ITSecOps, you will be a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), responsible for safeguarding critical IT infrastructure. Your expertise will drive threat prevention, security incident response, and continuous improvement of our cybersecurity posture.
Role
- Ensure the security of IT systems as part of an ITSecOps team.
- Proactively patch and secure IT environments based on best practices and vulnerability reports.
- Monitor alerts from security tools (MS Defender EDR/XDR, SIEM, Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection) and respond effectively.
- Conduct threat hunting and implement zero-day vulnerability remediation strategies.
- Analyze and respond to security incidents in collaboration with IT teams.
- Perform root cause analysis on high-impact incidents and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Oversee compliance enforcement, including disk encryption, security software, and software deployment tools.
- Monitor and guide worldwide security improvements, including OS patching and software lifecycle management.
- Work with Active Directory, Azure AD, O365, and MFA to maintain a secure identity infrastructure.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to security procedures.
Profile
- 6+ years of experience in IT security operations.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows security practices, including patch management.
- Hands-on experience with SOC operations, threat detection, and remediation.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 security tools, SIEM, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and implement security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile security operations teams.
