Payroll Officer

Our partner, a leading company in online gaming, is actively looking for a Payroll Officer in the Liège area.

As a Payroll Officer, you will be at the heart of our HR operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for all headquarter employees. You will guarantee compliance with current legislation while actively contributing to the optimization and continuous improvement of our payroll processes.

Role

Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely payroll management for all employees.
Guarantee full compliance with Belgian social and tax legislation.
Review, optimize, and safeguard the accuracy of payroll data.
Support employees by addressing their questions with clarity and professionalism.
Stay up to date with legal developments and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain effective relationships with external partners (social security bodies, interim agencies, payroll service providers, etc.).
Provide operational support to the HR and Recruitment teams when needed.
Actively contribute to projects and strategic initiatives alongside the Payroll & Operations Manager.

Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Finance, or related field
8–10 years’ experience in payroll or similar role
Proficient in payroll software (preferably SD Worx) and Excel
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized
Excellent communication and team skills
Fluent in English, proactive, and autonomous
