Managing Advisor – New Market Launch
Build a new practice from scratch. 3+ years agency-side, hunger for ownership. This role is yours to define. Bilingual FR/EN.
Sander is a specialist recruitment agency covering Finance, Technology, HR & Legal. After years of strong growth : 35+ people, 600+ placements, offices in Brussels, Antwerp and Paris, we are now launching a new market practice. This is a rare greenfield opportunity for an experienced recruitment leader to build something from scratch, with the full backing of an established agency.
Your Mission
As Managing Advisor for this new practice, you are the founder. You define the positioning, build the client portfolio, develop the candidate network and lay the foundations of a high-performing team. You operate with entrepreneurial freedom and leadership accountability.
• Launch and develop a new specialist practice within Sander in Brussels
• Define and execute the commercial strategy: target sectors, client profiles and key partnerships
• Drive business development: prospect, pitch and win mandates with new clients
• Build a strong candidate network and ensure quality placements from day one
• Recruit and mentor the first consultants joining the new team
• Collaborate with Sander leadership on roadmap, positioning and growth milestones
• Represent the new practice externally: events, networks, employer branding
Your Profile
• Minimum 4 years of experience in specialist recruitment, agency-side
• Proven track record in business development and client portfolio management
• Experience managing or mentoring junior recruiters is a strong asset
• Entrepreneurial and hands-on: you're comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
• Bilingual French & English
• Bachelor's degree minimum
• Motivated by ownership, impact and long-term growth, not just hitting monthly targets
