Our client, a growing Belgian chocolate manufacturer, is looking for a Junior Accountant in Brussels to strengthen its Finance team.

Junior Accountant | Your duties and responsibilities
As a Junior Accountant, you will:
- Process and verify purchase invoices and bank statements
- Follow up on supplier payments, payment reminders, customer collections and overdue balances
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts
- Support daily accounting administration and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with month end and year end closing activities
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare recurring journal entries and provisions
- Assist with VAT returns, Intrastat and intra community declarations
- Prepare OneGate surveys and other statutory reporting
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes
Junior Accountant | Ideal profile
- Experience: Up to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance; recent graduates are welcome
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; good knowledge of Belgian VAT and accounting principles, with strong Excel skills
