GL Accountant | Your Role

Financial Operations

Record daily accounting transactions and maintain general ledger accounts
Prepare journal entries, accruals and variance analyses
Perform month-end closings, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
Monitor treasury movements and payroll accounting
Follow up customer and supplier balances

Tax & Compliance

Prepare and submit various tax declarations (e.g. VAT, Intracom, Intrastat, corporate tax)
Support internal and external audits
Contribute to annual accounts and statutory filings
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

Reporting & Support

Maintain and strengthen accounting controls
Propose process improvements
Support management with ad-hoc analyses and finance projects

GL Accountant | Your Profile

Experience: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with solid accounting experience; background in an international or industrial environment is a plus
Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English
Qualifications: Strong Excel skills; ERP experience (Odoo/Oracle) and US GAAP knowledge are assets
