General Accountant in Brussels

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Accountant for the Brussels region.

Role

Manage daily accounting for multiple entities, in compliance with local and group standards.
Ensure weekly cash reporting and payment forecasts.
Provide accurate monthly group reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
Prepare VAT declarations and statutory annual financial statements.
Manage master data (suppliers, customers, payment terms).
Handle ad hoc requests from internal teams (accounting, treasury, legal, etc.).
Conduct regular inventories and reconcile them with accounting records.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and tax filings.
Contribute to improving accounting processes and take charge of new projects.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in accounting.
At least 3 years of experience in internal accounting or with an accounting firm.
Bilingual in French and English.
Well-organized and able to manage monthly deadlines.
Highly rigorous and reliable.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
