AZ Accountant | Services provider | East Flanders
We are actively looking for an AZ Accountant for one of our clients active in the services industry and located in East Flanders.
This company is a leading provider in its sector, with operations primarily across Europe and North America. With over two decades of experience, the group employs more than 5,000 professionals and supports several million individuals worldwide through subscription-based plans covering a broad range of services.
In Belgium, our client’s business is undergoing rapid expansion driven by targeted acquisitions. Its goal is to become the leading national services provider by the end of 2025.
In this dynamic growth context, our client is looking for a proactive AZ Accountant to take full ownership of the accounting for two of their entities based in East Flanders. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager at the group’s Brussels headquarters, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial management. The objective of our client: to bring accounting expertise in-house, ensure full compliance and precision, and reduce the intervention of external accounting firms.
Function:
- Managing the full accounting process from A to Z for two entities
- Booking of sales & purchases invoices
- Processing bank statements
- Preparing and submit VAT returns
- Assisting with monthly and annual closings
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Contributing to process improvements of the accounting procedures and tools
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience in AZ Accounting
- You speak Dutch fluently. The practice of French is a big plus
- You are proactive and able to work autonomously, taking ownership of your responsibilities
- You have a strong eye for detail and maintain high standards of accuracy in your work
