AZ Accountant - North Flemish Region

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant in the north Flemish region.

This role is ideal for an individual eager to broaden their experience across the full scope of corporate accounting within a collaborative, global environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the General Ledger function and assist with various finance projects, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.

Role

Execute monthly accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
Manage subledgers within the accounting system, with a focus on inventory accounting
Assist in process documentation and the development of desk-level procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives leveraging system capabilities
Participate in internal and external audits
Take on additional duties as assigned based on experience and departmental needs

Profile

You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting
You have minimum 3 years of experience within a society or an accounting firm
You are able to manage accounting procedures from A to Z
You have a good knowledge of accounting ERPs
You are comfortable in periods of deadlines
