VAT Manager | Strategic Advisor

As a VAT Manager, you will support mid-sized companies and international organizations on a broad range of VAT-related matters, combining advisory and compliance perspectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a key advisor on Belgian VAT matters for a diverse client portfolio
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships with local and international organizations
• Supporting businesses in navigating complex VAT regulations and practical implementation
• Leading and mentoring a team of junior and senior VAT professionals
• Collaborating with specialists from tax, legal and advisory teams
• Managing relationships with tax authorities and other VAT stakeholders
• Contributing to business development initiatives within the VAT practice

In this role, you will combine technical expertise with a strong client-focused approach.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in VAT, with strong knowledge of Belgian VAT legislation
• Master’s degree in Law, Economics or a related field
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong analytical and advisory skills
• Client-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration within a team
• Leadership skills and experience in mentoring colleagues
