Senior System Engineer | International Infrastructure

Our partner is an international organisation with a lean and collaborative IT team supporting colleagues across several European locations.

Senior System Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

Provide 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support, troubleshooting issues across users, systems, endpoints and infrastructure.
Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure and Windows environments.
Take ownership of system maintenance, incidents, requests and changes within an ITIL-based framework.
Manage user lifecycle & access, including onboarding, offboarding and permissions.
Drive documentation & knowledge sharing, using tools such as Jira and Confluence to keep the IT environment structured and up to date.
Contribute to technical projects & continuous improvement, while collaborating with colleagues and external IT partners across Europe.

Senior System Engineer - Profile & Technologies

5–15 years of experience as a System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Service Engineer or similar.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows environments.
Solid experience across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support and system administration.
Practical knowledge of ITIL, Jira and Confluence, with a strong focus on technical documentation.
Comfortable working in an international infrastructure, collaborating with users, IT colleagues and external providers.
Fluent English is essential; Dutch is a strong advantage. French is a plus.
