Real Estate Lawyer – Associate

Our client is a top-ranked Belgian law firm with a thriving Real Estate practice and is looking for a Junior Lawyer to grow with the team.

Your duties and responsibilities

Support transactions and projects across asset classes: acquisitions, (re)development, leases, due diligence, financing/security and asset management
Draft, review and negotiate real estate documentation (SPAs, lease/long lease, EPCs, service & construction contracts, securities)
Assist on permitting, planning, environmental and regulatory questions with internal specialists
Contribute to litigation/arbitration files (research, submissions, exhibits, hearing prep)
Participate in knowledge, business development and thought-leadership initiatives of the practice

Ideal profile?

0 to 2 years in real estate/property law (firm or in-house); strong traineeship or internships welcome
Excellent Dutch & English; good command of French (or motivated to improve quickly)
Belgian Master of Laws; Bar admission (or eligibility). Strong analytical, pragmatic and client-oriented mindset
