Network Engineer | Hands-on Team

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join a collaborative and hands-on team, working closely with internal IT specialists and external partners.

What makes this role different? You’ll be close to the technology. You’ll actively work on the infrastructure, troubleshoot real-world challenges and contribute to network and security projects rather than simply managing tickets from the sidelines.

Network Engineer - What's the job about

Network Infrastructure: Design, configure and maintain enterprise network environments, with a strong focus on Fortinet & Palo Alto technologies.
Network Security: Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and security policies, ensuring a secure and reliable infrastructure.
Hands-on Troubleshooting: Investigate complex network issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions using tools such as Wireshark, PRTG or SolarWinds.
Projects & Improvements: Contribute to network upgrades, segmentation, SD-WAN and security projects, from implementation through to optimisation.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors and service providers to integrate and improve network solutions.
Documentation: Keep network configurations, diagrams, procedures and technical documentation accurate and up to date.

Network Engineer - Who we are looking for

4+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering, ideally in a complex IT environment.
Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and VPNs.
Solid experience with Palo Alto, particularly firewalls, Panorama and GlobalProtect.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, OSPF/BGP, DNS, DHCP and network segmentation.
A genuine problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting, getting into the technical details and finding practical solutions.
Fluent in English and French, with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
