Our client is an international technology-driven organisation operating in a highly available and security-sensitive digital infrastructure. They are looking for a Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team in a hybrid working environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a critical network infrastructure where reliability, security and performance are essential. You will combine hands-on engineering with network architecture, security and infrastructure projects, while working closely with experienced systems and security professionals.

Network Engineer | Duties and Responsabilities

Designing, implementing and maintaining highly available network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
Monitoring and troubleshooting complex network issues, analysing logs and performance data to identify and resolve root causes.
Strengthening network security through firewall management, VPNs, secure segmentation and other security best practices.
Contributing to network architecture, resilience and infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations and technology evaluations.
Supporting incident response and working closely with system administrators, security specialists and external partners.
Maintaining clear technical documentation and contributing to the continuous improvement of network operations and standards.

Network Engineer | Ideal profile

You have solid professional experience in Network Engineering and Administration, ideally in a medium- to large-scale or highly available environment.
You have strong knowledge of routing, switching and network architecture, with experience in TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, BGP and/or OSPF.
You are comfortable with network security, including firewalls, VPNs and network segmentation.
You have strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and can efficiently diagnose complex issues, even under time pressure.
Experience with load balancing and high-availability architectures is an asset; certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS or JNCIP are a plus.
You are proactive, solution-oriented and communicative, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and external partners.
