Our partner is a fast-growing Belgian technology company operating in an international and highly technical environment. To strengthen its IT team, we are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to contribute to daily operations while taking an active role in different infrastructure and IT projects.

This is not your typical support position. You will work on L2/L3 technical challenges, collaborate with infrastructure specialists and get exposure to a broad range of technologies and projects.

IT Operations Engineer - The Role

Handle L2/L3 incidents and technical issues, investigating root causes and resolving or escalating complex problems.
Work across Microsoft and Linux environments, including systems, servers, workstations and core IT infrastructure.
Contribute to infrastructure, networking, security and IT transformation projects alongside experienced engineers.
Manage user access, configurations and IT assets while maintaining accurate CMDB and technical documentation.
Collaborate with Infrastructure and IT teams across multiple projects and priorities, moving quickly between different technical challenges.
Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, tools and infrastructure, taking a proactive approach rather than simply reacting to incidents.

IT Operations Engineer - The Profile

Experience in IT Operations, System Administration or L2 Technical Support, with the ambition to develop towards L3 responsibilities.
Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft and Linux environments, with a solid understanding of systems and hardware.
Good understanding of networking, VPN, antivirus and Microsoft 365 environments.
Curious about infrastructure, cloud and emerging technologies, with a strong willingness to learn.
Analytical, autonomous and comfortable juggling multiple technical projects and priorities.
Fluent in English and French, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
