Our partner is a leading player within its sector and is currently looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance team in the Leuven office.
Our partner, active within the IT sector, is an international company with a strong presence worldwide. At the moment, they are expanding their market share within EMEA and Asia. To lead the financial team, they are currently looking for a Finance Manager. It is a role with a lot of responsibility and a complex set of tasks. The company has several entities worldwide and in Belgium.A knowledge of working with different entities, in an international environment is a major plus!
Finance Manager | Your Role
As a Finance Manager you will have several responsibilities under your supervision:
- Team management: Guiding the regional team responsible for accounting, tax compliance, treasury, and customer accounting
- Coordinating with the other financial departments worldwide
- Overseeing the monthly and annual closings for Europe, in local and US GAAP
- You are the contact person for external audits and maintain relationships with tax authorities; you also closely monitor regulatory obligations in the various European jurisdictions
- Overseeing regional cash flow and liquidity and managing banking relationships and financing strategies
- You are an important point of contact and a bridge between the European operations and the US headquarters for everything related to Finance
Finance Manager | Your Profile
You have:
- At least 12 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a management role within an international environment
- Strong technological knowledge and familiarity with different software within the accounting and financial world
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance
- Fluent English, the working language of the company
- The ability to think strategically and not afraid to take initiative
