We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer ready to combine hands-on expertise with technical leadership. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of security projects, guide improvements and progressively become a go-to expert within the organisation.

Cybersecurity Engineer - Tasks & Responsibilities

Lead security initiatives by driving the implementation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity measures.
Assess and mitigate risks by identifying security gaps, evaluating threats and coordinating appropriate remediation actions.
Improve security controls across IT systems, infrastructure and business processes.
Drive security standards and best practices, contributing to policies, procedures and compliance initiatives.
Coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to turn security requirements into practical technical solutions.
Take technical ownership of key security topics, influence decisions and help shape the organisation's cybersecurity roadmap.

Cybersecurity Engineer - Profile

Experience in cybersecurity, information security engineering or IT security.
Solid understanding of security controls, risk assessment and infrastructure security.
Familiarity with ISO 27001, security governance or regulatory compliance is a plus.
Ability to lead technical initiatives, coordinate stakeholders and take ownership of complex topics.
A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset combined with the ambition to influence strategy and mentor others.
Fluency in English and Dutch, French is considered an asset.
