Commercial Controller | Your duties and responsibilities

As Commercial Controller, you will act as a financial business partner to the commercial teams. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and supporting the monthly closing, budgeting and forecasting processes for the commercial activities.
Analysing financial and commercial performance, identifying trends and translating figures into actionable recommendations.
Monitoring key business KPIs, sales performance, costs, margins and profitability.
Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Service and Management.
Providing financial guidance on commercial initiatives, promotions and marketing investments.
Preparing and challenging business cases linked to new products, commercial projects and other strategic initiatives.
Supporting product launches and innovation projects from a financial perspective.
Performing cost price and margin analyses and assessing their impact on profitability.
Contributing to process improvements and ensuring appropriate internal controls.
Supporting finance-related projects involving commercial operations and the supply chain.
Challenging stakeholders constructively and helping translate financial data into better business decisions.

Commercial Controller | Ideal profile

Experience: You have a first relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, commercial finance or audit and are ready to take on a broader business-partnering position. Experience within FMCG, retail, consumer goods or another fast-paced environment is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Languages: You communicate fluently in Dutch and French and have a good professional command of English.
Qualifications: You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, with strong Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP/reporting tools is an asset.
