Bilingual Accountant | FR/NL

Your responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day general and analytical accounting, including purchase, sales and financial transactions
Monitor payments, customer collections and supplier accounts
Prepare VAT returns and other Belgian tax and accounting obligations
Contribute to monthly and annual closings and prepare financial reporting for management
Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial partners
Identify opportunities to improve and optimise accounting and financial processes
Provide occasional administrative and financial support to the wider organisation
Coordinate and support a small accounting team

Ideal Profile

Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in Belgian accounting, ideally in a broad, hands-on accounting position
Languages: You are fluent in French and Dutch, both written and spoken
Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; strong Excel skills are expected, while experience with an ERP such as Odoo is a plus
