Accountant Specialist | Financial Services

Experience: 1–5 years in accounting or bookkeeping (Belgian GAAP)
Languages: Fluent in English + French and/or Dutch
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

Our client is a fast-growing international fintech active in digital assets and is looking for a hands-on Accounting Specialist to strengthen its finance team.

You will join an innovative, tech-driven company operating at the crossroads of finance, trading and digital assets. The environment is international, fast-paced and entrepreneurial, offering exposure to modern finance topics, automation projects and complex transactions. This role is ideal if you enjoy operational accounting while wanting to grow within a scale-up context.

Accounting Specialist | Your Role

Full-cycle bookkeeping for the Belgian entity (Belgian GAAP)
Monthly bank and multi-currency reconciliations (including digital asset wallets)
Preparation and filing of VAT returns
Intercompany reconciliations and support in group consolidation
Booking and reconciliation of revenues, fees and financial transactions
Support month-end, year-end closings and statutory reporting
Assist with audits and liaise with external accountants and payroll partners
Contribute to process improvements, automation and ERP migration projects
