Accountant | International Technology Environment

Our partner, an international technology group based near La-Roche-en-Ardenne, is looking for an Accountant to strengthen its Finance team.

You will join an organisation bringing together more than 30 nationalities, while becoming part of a close-knit Finance team where you will receive genuine support and guidance.

The objective is not to keep you focused on one area of accounting indefinitely. While the Accountant position will initially have a stronger focus on purchase accounting, you will have the opportunity to progressively broaden your scope and responsibilities.

Accountant | Your duties and responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will actively contribute to the company's day-to-day accounting activities and will be responsible for:

Managing, checking and processing supplier invoices;
Preparing and reviewing the relevant accounting documentation;
Performing bank and general ledger reconciliations;
Reviewing and analysing employee expenses;
Following up on income and expenditure accounts;
Working closely with other departments to collect and validate financial information;
Actively contributing to monthly, quarterly and annual closings;
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of accounting data recorded in the ERP;
Gradually taking ownership of additional accounting responsibilities as you develop within the position.

Accountant | Ideal profile

Experience: You have accounting experience, ideally between 1 and 5 years, gained either in-house or within an accounting firm. More experienced candidates may also be considered.
Languages: You are fluent in French and have sufficient English skills to comfortably read and write professional documents.
Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification. Experience with an ERP, particularly SAP S/4HANA or Exact, is an advantage but not a requirement.
