To support our partner's growth, we are looking for a System & Network Administrator to strengthen an IT department, which serves as the European Data Center for our various subsidiaries. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and efficiency across multiple locations.
Network & System Administrator - The Role
- Play a key role in developing the infrastructure of our European data center, which serves over 30 subsidiaries.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructures (servers, firewalls, networks), ensuring their availability and performance.
- Monitor and oversee system operations, from diagnosing issues to implementing security and backup protocols.
Network & System Administrator - The Profile
- System Administration: 3+ years' experience with Microsoft system administration in medium-to-large environments; expertise in Windows Server and Linux; strong skills in managing physical and virtual servers (VMware certification required); knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Network & Security: Hands-on experience with Cisco network devices (switches, routers) and networking protocols (IP, TCP/IP, VLAN); firewall management experience (Palo Alto is a plus); strong grasp of network security best practices (CCNA/CCNP a plus).
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Proficient in using monitoring tools to detect and resolve performance/security issues; skilled in planning and executing system/software updates.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Experience with backup solutions (Veeam is a plus); capable of developing and testing disaster recovery plans.
