Senior Accountant | International Enviroment

Our partner is a rapidly growing international service provider and is looking for a Senior Accountant to independently strengthen its Belgian entity.

Our client is a leading player in integrated facility and real estate management, active in several countries. The Belgian entity is in a growth phase and is building a more independent, local financial management system. As a Senior Accountant, you will have a key role, a lot of autonomy, and impact in a complex, international environment.

Senior Accountant | Your Role

You will manage and supervise the entire Belgian accounting process from A to Z.
You will monitor financial flows and ensure the quality and accuracy of all accounting processes.
You will be responsible for VAT returns, year-end closing, month-end closing, and reporting.
You will work closely with the Benelux Finance team and act as the point of contact for audits.
You will contribute to the SAP implementation and the digitization of invoicing.
You will support internal stakeholders and proactively gather information from operational teams.

Senior Accountant | Your Profile

Experience: at least 5 years of experience in a complex accounting environment; experience in facility or technical services is a strong plus.
Languages: fluent Dutch, with a very good level of English for international contacts.
Qualifications: bachelor's/master's degree in accountancy or equivalent; knowledge of BE GAAP and IFRS.
