You will join a multinational Finance team and work closely with senior finance leadership and European entities. Your duties and responsibilities?

Manage key aspects of the monthly accounting close, with a particular focus on revenue recognition and financial reporting
Review contracts and ensure appropriate revenue recognition under US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, WIP and accounts receivable reserves
Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations in line with internal control and SOX requirements
Manage intercompany reconciliations and loan schedules, including monthly interest accruals
Support the preparation and filing of annual statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors
Review and coordinate VAT returns, EC Sales and other local compliance requirements with external advisors
Act as a key accounting contact for local entities, providing support on technical accounting, processes and approvals
Contribute to the continuous improvement of month-end processes and reporting
Collaborate with finance teams across multiple European entities and support ad hoc accounting projects

Ideal Profile

Experience: Qualified Accountant with several years of post-qualification experience, including strong experience in month-end closing, revenue recognition and financial reporting; experience in professional services, audit or an international group is a strong advantage
Languages: Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong asset
Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, US GAAP and/or IFRS, including ASC 606 / IFRS 15; excellent Excel skills are required
