Role

Keep our global infrastructure running smoothly in a dynamic, mission-critical environment, while following DHL’s top-tier security standards.
Take full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of our RedHat Enterprise Linux systems—from deployment and tuning to maintenance and retirement.
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability across all Linux services.
Continuously monitor system health, spot issues before they escalate, and implement preventive improvements.
Lead deep-dive troubleshooting efforts during incidents to minimize downtime and maintain service excellence.
Optimize server and virtualization performance to ensure lean, efficient operations at scale.
Document configurations, operational procedures, and incident learnings to support team-wide excellence.

Profile

5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management.
A solid background working in large enterprise environments.
Expertise in RedHat Enterprise Linux.
Strong experience with Ansible automation.
A good working knowledge of open-source technologies such as:
Bind, Elasticsearch, JBoss, Kafka, Pacemaker, Podman, PostgreSQL, Postfix, Tomcat, Zabbix.
Strong awareness of GDPR and IT security best practices.
A proactive, analytical mindset—comfortable working independently and under pressure.
Excellent communication and planning skills.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
