Your responsibilities
- Advise clients on Belgian and cross-border financing transactions
- Assist in drafting and negotiating finance documentation and security packages
- Support transactions involving leveraged finance, acquisition finance and real estate finance
- Participate in infrastructure finance, structured finance, securitisation and debt capital markets matters
- Coordinate transaction processes, closings and conditions precedent with local and international teams
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic support on complex financing structures and debt restructurings
Ideal profile
- Belgian Master of Law with strong academic background
- An LL.M. and/or additional business education would be considered an asset
- 1 to 2 years of Banking & Finance experience within a leading international or Belgian law firm
- Fluent in English and French, Dutch is considered an asset
