As Project Manager for the Financial Control Tower initiative, you will take full ownership of the IT and infrastructure aspects of a critical application system designed to manage reimbursements when clients cancel orders. This project is central to the organization’s financial operations, and your role will be pivotal in ensuring its successful implementation and long-term operational stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Assume the role of CEO for the project, driving the overall vision, strategy, and execution of the Financial Control Tower initiative. Lead the project team and collaborate with key stakeholders across business and IT functions.
• System Ownership: Oversee the development and maintenance of the IT infrastructure that supports the reimbursement system. Ensure seamless integration with other financial and business systems.
• Stakeholder Management: Align stakeholders from various departments, including Finance, IT, and Operations, ensuring that all business requirements and goals are met.
• Agile Methodology: Implement Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage project phases, improve workflows, and enhance team collaboration. Deliver solutions in an iterative manner to ensure alignment with evolving business needs.
• Change Management: Lead and manage the transformation efforts within the organization, guiding teams through changes while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT infrastructure and financial systems.

• Previous experience managing projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ideally within the transportation, logistics, or rail freight industry.
