Internal Auditor - Major European Financial Service

For one of our clients, we are actively looking for an Internal Auditor to join a major European financial services group based in Brussels.

Role

  • Contribute to the annual risk assessment for the group’s various entities, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments in accordance with professional standards, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify relevant areas for improvement through analysis of audited processes, and formulate clear findings along with practical internal control recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough follow-ups on the implementation of audit recommendations and assess progress made by the business units.
  • Prepare clear and structured audit reports, supported by high-quality working papers.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Head of Internal Audit, reporting on audit progress, key findings, and challenges encountered.


Profile

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Audit, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in internal audit or external audit in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is required.
  • Trilingual proficiency (minimum B2 level in French, Dutch, and English).

  • Attractive salary: up to €5,000 gross/month depending on profile and experience.
