Internal Auditor - Major European Financial Service

For one of our clients, we are actively looking for an Internal Auditor to join a major European financial services group based in Brussels.

Role

Contribute to the annual risk assessment for the group’s various entities, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments in accordance with professional standards, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Identify relevant areas for improvement through analysis of audited processes, and formulate clear findings along with practical internal control recommendations.
Conduct thorough follow-ups on the implementation of audit recommendations and assess progress made by the business units.
Prepare clear and structured audit reports, supported by high-quality working papers.
Maintain ongoing communication with the Head of Internal Audit, reporting on audit progress, key findings, and challenges encountered.

Profile

Master’s degree in Finance, Audit, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in internal audit or external audit in a Big 4 environment.
Experience in insurance or financial services is required.
Trilingual proficiency (minimum B2 level in French, Dutch, and English).

Attractive salary: up to €5,000 gross/month depending on profile and experience.
