Head Accountant - Near Rixensart

For one of our clients, we are actively looking for an Accounting Manager for the Walloon Brabant region.

Role

  • Improve and implement financial systems (ERP, payroll, CRM, etc.)
  • Update/create internal policies
  • Ensure the application of policies within the company
  • Manage the Accounting & Tax team
  • Ensure accurate and compliant accounting
  • Produce consolidated IFRS monthly accounts within 5 days
  • Manage inventory entries, deferred revenue, intra-group recharges, and consolidation currency adjustments
  • Provide regular or ad hoc financial analyses
  • Lead annual audits (migration to IFRS planned)
  • Produce statutory financial statements and tax filings
  • Ensure tax compliance
  • Work closely with internal teams
  • Support governance, internal controls, and the resolution of operational issues

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in full-cycle accounting (A-Z) with team management
  • Knowledge of Odoo and Netsuite is an asset
  • Experience with BE GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of Polish GAAP is a plus
  • You are a French speaker with a good command of English
  • IT affinity is appreciated, especially in a SaaS/pharma context

Offer

  • Salary: up to €6,500 gross per month, with a flexible budget and the possibility of exceeding this amount depending on profile and experience
  • Annual bonus: 10%, plus a mobility package with an electric car or mobility budget
