Fraud & Compliance Officer – Protect a Key Player

Our client is a leading financial services infrastructure provider looking for a Fraud & Compliance Officer to strengthen its risk & security operations.

Your duties and responsibilities

As Fraud & Compliance Officer, you will help safeguard the company’s financial integrity by preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud risks. Your responsibilities include:

Identifying, assessing and prioritising internal & external fraud risks.
Developing, implementing and improving fraud-prevention strategies.
Monitoring transactions, alerts and suspicious activities.
Investigating fraud attempts and coordinating relevant actions.
Providing fraud-awareness training to internal teams and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Translating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Acting as a key point of contact for internal partners regarding fraud-related questions or incident follow-up.

Ideal profile?

Experience: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in financial services, service management, payments, cards, or ATM-related environments.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch or French (minimum one of the two) + strong English.
Qualifications: Solid communication skills, analytical mindset, eye for detail, customer-oriented, proactive “can do” attitude.
