Our client, an international industrial group committed to innovation and sustainability, is looking for a Financial Manager to lead its Finance function.

Your duties and responsibilities?

Supervise accounting activities and ensure the quality of monthly and annual closings.
Coordinate statutory accounts, legal reporting and relationships with external auditors.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit management.
Ensure compliance with Belgian accounting and tax requirements, including VAT and corporate tax.
Prepare and monitor short, medium and long-term cash flow forecasts.
Manage banking relationships and financing activities.
Oversee insurance policies, claims and various financial risks.
Monitor foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity risks, as well as hedging activities.
Lead, coach and develop the Finance team.
Define team priorities, responsibilities and objectives while supporting professional development.
Optimise accounting and financial processes and contribute to their digitalisation.
Contribute to ERP development and cross-functional projects, including initiatives related to the use of AI in Finance.

Ideal Profile

Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling or financial management, ideally in an industrial or international environment, with a strong understanding of Belgian accounting and tax regulations.
Languages: You are fluent in English and ideally have a good knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field. Excellent Excel skills and ERP experience are required; SAP knowledge is a plus.
