Our client, an international industrial group committed to innovation and sustainability, is looking for a Financial Manager to lead its Finance function.

Your duties and responsibilities?
- Supervise accounting activities and ensure the quality of monthly and annual closings.
- Coordinate statutory accounts, legal reporting and relationships with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit management.
- Ensure compliance with Belgian accounting and tax requirements, including VAT and corporate tax.
- Prepare and monitor short, medium and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Manage banking relationships and financing activities.
- Oversee insurance policies, claims and various financial risks.
- Monitor foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity risks, as well as hedging activities.
- Lead, coach and develop the Finance team.
- Define team priorities, responsibilities and objectives while supporting professional development.
- Optimise accounting and financial processes and contribute to their digitalisation.
- Contribute to ERP development and cross-functional projects, including initiatives related to the use of AI in Finance.
Ideal Profile
- Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling or financial management, ideally in an industrial or international environment, with a strong understanding of Belgian accounting and tax regulations.
- Languages: You are fluent in English and ideally have a good knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
- Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field. Excellent Excel skills and ERP experience are required; SAP knowledge is a plus.
