Finance Manager Group Accounting

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional looking for a hands-on leadership role combining people management, accounting expertise and change management.

Your responsibilities

Lead, coach and motivate a team of 9 finance professionals across Project Accounting, Accounts Payable and General Accounting.
Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and statutory requirements, including key balance sheet reconciliations and closing controls.
Coordinate internal and external audit activities where required.
Lead and contribute to finance transformation, change management and continuous improvement projects.
Work closely with Finance and business stakeholders to identify efficiencies and improve processes.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, ownership and continuous learning within the team.

Ideal Profile

Experience: You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, including proven experience in accounting leadership and team management within a complex organisation. You are comfortable combining strategic oversight with a hands-on approach.
Languages: You have excellent English communication skills and are comfortable working with international stakeholders.
Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and closing processes is essential. Experience with SAP is a strong asset.

The offer

A 7-month ad interim assignment, with the possibility of extension.
Full-time position with a desired start date of 1 October 2026, or earlier if possible.
