Devops Engineer (CICD)

Do you secure CICD pipelines?

The ICT department of an important public authority is looking for an experienced CI/CD Implementation Specialist to help drive the transition towards a professional, standardized and scalable CI/CD approach.

You will work across development, infrastructure and management teams to assess the current CI/CD landscape, define standards and best practices, implement reusable tooling, and guide teams through the transition.

This is a hands-on role combining CI/CD engineering, DevOps, automation, standardization and change management.

Role

Map and assess existing CI/CD processes, initiatives and tooling.
Identify best practices from existing initiatives and complement them with industry best practices.
Define and maintain a standardized CI/CD approach across teams.
Develop and implement reusable CI/CD tooling, processes and automation.
Create a progressive roadmap for migrating teams towards the new CI/CD standards.
Support development teams throughout the implementation and transition.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation of software integration and deployment processes.
Build and maintain automation processes, environments and scripts focused on software quality.
Promote standardization, automation and improved quality across the software delivery lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership and direction for CI/CD automation initiatives.
Document standards, processes, tooling and the progress of the transition.
Communicate implementation plans, risks, issues and delays to project teams, management and other stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between development, infrastructure and management teams.

Profile

3+ years of demonstrable experience leading or being responsible for CI/CD implementations in complex environments or comparable projects.
3+ years of experience within DevOps teams building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
2+ years of practical experience with Continuous Delivery environments and integrating automation tools such as Sonar and Selenium with platforms including:
GitLab
GitHub
Jenkins
Azure DevOps
3+ years of hands-on experience with Docker.
1+ year of experience implementing automation in Cloud environments, preferably Azure and/or AWS.
1+ year of experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Experience integrating SCA and SAST security tools into CI/CD pipelines is a strong advantage. Experience with tools such as CAST Highlight is particularly relevant.
