Sander Finance is looking for an Accountant to join an established international company operating in the nutrition, health and food industries. With operations across Europe and the United States, this organisation develops science-based solutions used in everyday products.

As part of the finance team, you will contribute to daily accounting activities, financial closings and statutory reporting. This position offers a broad range of responsibilities for someone who enjoys practical accounting work, values teamwork and is eager to keep learning.

Accountant | Role

Handle daily accounting operations and financial administration, including transaction postings, invoice processing and the preparation of supplier payments.
Contribute to monthly and annual closings by preparing accruals, calculating depreciation under Belgian and US GAAP, and reconciling accounts.
Prepare VAT returns and Intrastat declarations, ensuring accurate information and timely completion of the relevant reporting requirements.
Support audit preparation and financial documentation, helping the finance team meet local statutory obligations and internal group requirements.

Accountant | Profile

You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through more than five years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
You have a good understanding of VAT legislation, excellent Excel skills and experience working with Microsoft-based accounting software.
You communicate effectively in Dutch and English. Organised, proactive and eager to learn, you work well with colleagues and can manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
