VAT Accountant - Leading International Group

For one of our clients, we are looking for a VAT Accountant in the peripheries of Brussels near Zaventem.

Role

Managing general accounting (AZ accounting)
Ensuring VAT compliance and handling local tax declarations
Collaborating on customs-related matters (VAT impact – training available)
Supporting various internal and external projects across the organization

You will be part of a small, experienced accounting team working on strategic projects including ongoing green energy initiatives.

Profile

Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, including hands-on VAT responsibilities
Fluency in English and either French or Dutch (bilingual FR/NL is a strong asset)
A collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment
No specific requirement to come from a Big Four background — attitude and expertise matter more
