System Engineer - The Role

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems, including servers, virtualization platforms, and storage solutions.
Manage and optimize Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and security across IT infrastructure.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security policies to protect company data.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable IT solutions.
Contribute to IT improvement projects, automation initiatives, and best practices adoption.
Stay current with emerging technologies to support innovation and efficiency within the IT environment.

System Engineer - The Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
5+ years of experience in system administration, engineering, or IT infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms.
Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and IT security frameworks.
Analytical mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, French and Dutch.
