Senior System Engineer - Tasks and Responsibilities

Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and virtualization.
Install, upgrade, and integrate software/hardware, including automation processes.
Troubleshoot issues, document resolutions, and assess impact on operations.
Manage backups, data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Lead desktop/helpdesk support, plan capacity/storage, and optimize database performance.

Senior System Engineer - Who Are You

Bachelor’s in IT/Computer Science; certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or networking are a plus.
Strong system, network, and virtualization knowledge, including VMware, vSAN, Tanzu, vHorizon, Windows Server, O365/Azure AD.
Experienced in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Intune) and implementing IT strategy, helpdesk, and operations best practices.
Skilled in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, routing, Wi-Fi, backup, and disaster recovery (Veeam).
Fluent in French and English with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
