For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to strengthen its Business Insurance division in Brussels.

This strategic position offers the opportunity to shape the future of insurance solutions dedicated to SMEs and self-employed professionals while working within an innovative and customer-centric environment.

Acting as the owner of your product portfolio, you will combine strategic thinking, market expertise, and commercial insight to design, develop, and optimize innovative insurance solutions that meet evolving customer needs while ensuring long-term profitability.

Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a central role in defining, developing, and optimizing insurance products dedicated to the business market.

Combining strategic vision with operational execution, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the continued competitiveness, profitability, and market positioning of the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

Lead the development and continuous enhancement of insurance products designed for SMEs and self-employed professionals.
Manage the entire product lifecycle, from market analysis and product design to implementation and launch.
Translate customer needs and market trends into innovative and competitive insurance solutions.
Define and strengthen the positioning of the product portfolio across various distribution channels.

Portfolio Management

Monitor product performance and profitability, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Analyze market data, customer feedback, and commercial insights to support strategic decisions.
Ensure products remain aligned with regulatory requirements and evolving market expectations.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with underwriting, distribution, legal, marketing, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver strategic initiatives.
Contribute to the continuous evolution of the company's product offering.

Profile

Master's degree (a degree in Law is considered an advantage).
Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management within the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products.
Solid understanding of the Belgian insurance market.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills combined with a customer-focused mindset.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented.
Fluent in Dutch with a good command of French and English.
