Role
As a Senior Auditor, you will take ownership of audit engagements from planning to reporting while supporting and coaching less experienced team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning audit engagements, including risk assessments, team planning and work allocation.
- Performing audit procedures on more complex areas such as inventory, payroll and cut-off testing.
- Assessing and documenting clients' internal control environments.
- Preparing closing meetings and presenting findings.
- Reporting progress, key issues and practical solutions to Audit Managers and Directors.
- Coaching junior auditors throughout the audit process.
Profile
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Several years of experience within external audit.
- Fluent in Dutch with a good command of English.
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable taking responsibility and working directly with clients.
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine willingness to support colleagues and continue learning.
